I've had several male nurses recently as well and I had to remind myself I am open minded and not sexist. Still, sometimes I think only a woman would really understand. I am currently researching maternal healthcare for an international documentary I am making, and in some countries the female doctors the women are forced to see are not highly educated like men are. This has lead to an increase in maternal deaths (approximately 1 every minute). It's terrible.
