I have limited mobility in my left arm since surgery and it will take some time to get it back. I have found I can't do the following:
wash or brush my hair
make a ponytail
get dressed easily
pick up big things
do laundry (darn!)
Very aggravating!
(Walter is learning to make ponytails.)
